Adding Serial Numbers to PDF Invoices and Packing Slips
WC Serial Numbers is now compatible with the PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin. This allows serial numbers generated by our plugin to be automatically included in order invoices and packing slips, providing a seamless experience for store owners and customers.
How It Works
Once compatibility is enabled, WC Serial Numbers will automatically add the assigned serial numbers to invoices and packing slips generated by the PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin. No additional setup is required.
Requirements
- WC Serial Numbers plugin installed and activated.
- PDF Invoices & Packing Slips For WooCommerce plugin installed and activated.
How to Enable Serial Numbers in PDF Invoices & Packing Slips
- Ensure both plugins are installed and activated.
- Assign serial numbers to products in the WC Serial Numbers plugin.
- Generate an order that includes a product with a serial number.
- Enable PDF Invoices for WooCommerce.
- Go to WooCommerce > PDF Invoices menu, Documents tab, from General options select where to attach PDF. Setting screenshot given below.
- View the invoice or packing slip, and the serial number will be automatically included.
