Uninstall the Plugin

If you’re no longer using Product Tabs Manager plugin or switching to another solution, you can easily uninstall it from your WordPress site. This guide walks you through the safe removal of both the Free and Premium (Pro) versions, including license deactivation and optional data cleanup.

If You’re Using the Pro Version

Before uninstalling the free version, make sure to uninstall the Pro version first. This ensures proper removal of licensed features and avoids potential conflicts.

Uninstalling The Free Version

To completely remove the Product Tabs Manager (Free) plugin from your site:

Step 1: Deactivate the Plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
2. Find Product Tabs Manager in the list.
3. Click Deactivate (this option appears only when the plugin is active).

Step 2: Delete the Plugin

1. Once the plugin is deactivated, you will see the Delete option appear beneath the plugin name.
2. Click Delete, then confirm when prompted to remove the plugin from your site permanently.

Uninstalling The Premium Version

Step 1: Deactivate Your License (Recommended)

Before uninstalling, you should deactivate your license to free up usage for other domains or future reinstallation.

Deactivate from WordPress:

1. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and locate Product Tabs Manager Pro.
2. If the license is active, click Deactivate (you’ll see this option under the plugin details).

Unlink the domain from PluginEver Dashboard:

1. Visit PluginEver My Account and navigate to License Keys.
2. Find your active license and click on Manage Sites.
3. Click the Deactivate button from Actions next to the relevant domain.

Step 2: Delete the Plugin

1. Return to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
2. Once the Pro plugin is deactivated, click Delete to remove it from your site.

This removes plugin files but may retain database options.
