How Custom Tip Amount Input Works for Shoppers

If you want to allow customers to enter a custom tip amount instead of just choosing from preset values, this feature provides that flexibility.

Enabling Custom Tip

• Go to WooCommerce → Checkout Tipping → Tips Menu.
• Click Add New Tip or edit an existing one.
• Enable the Custom Amount checkbox.

Configuration Fields

• Min Value: Lowest amount customer can enter (e.g., 1).
• Max Value: Highest amount allowed (e.g., 100).
• Step Value: Increment steps allowed (e.g., 1, 5).
• Default Value: Pre-filled amount in the input field.

This feature is useful if you’d like to give customers full control over how much they tip.
