How to Configure Advanced Coupons

WC Advanced Coupons will let you set restrictions and limitations based on your use case. You can easily set preferences to make your coupon usage exclusive for your customers.

First, go to Marketing > Coupons > Usage Restriction, and then you’ll find some extra advanced option that comes with the WC Advanced Coupons plugin. Now it is time for you to set your preferences for your coupon.

You can create as many coupons as you can and set different preferences for each coupon.

Usage Restriction Based on Customer Type

You can restrict the usage of your coupons to new or returning customers based on their previous orders. There are three options for that.

  • Everyone

This option is for both existing and new customers where every customer will be able to use your coupon.

  • New customers only

This option is for new customers where only the new customers will be able to use your coupon after you’ve created the coupon.

  • Existing customers only

This option is for existing customers where only the previous customers will be able to use your coupon no matter when you’ve created the coupon.

Usage Restriction Based on User Roles

You can select your desired or multiple user roles to let your customers use this coupon. You can also leave this field blank if you don’t want to make your coupon exclusive for any user role.

Usage Restriction Based on Billing

You can restrict the usage of your coupons based on your customer’s billing country, billing state, and billing zip codes. You can select your desired or multiple countries, states, or zip codes to let your customers use this coupon.

You can use commas to separate countries, states, and zip codes. You can also leave this field blank if you don’t want to make your coupon exclusive for any user role.

Usage Restriction Based on Shipping

That’s all.
