This setting allows you to turn off all category-level restrictions across your entire store with a single toggle. This is useful for testing, temporary promotions, or when you want to simplify your rule structure.
How to Configure
Step 1: Navigate to General Settings
- Go to WooCommerce > Min Max Quantities > General
- Scroll down to find the Category Settings section
Step 2: Disable Category Rules
Check the Disable Category Rule checkbox.
Step 3: Save Changes
Click Save Changes to apply the setting store-wide.
What it does
Turns off all category-level purchase restrictions across your entire store
Effect when enabled:
- All category product limits are ignored
- All category-wide limits (total quantity, total value, product count) are ignored
- Products follow global, product-specific, or role-based limits instead
- Category assignments remain unchanged (products still appear in categories for navigation)
Important Notes:
Does NOT remove category limit settings (they’re just ignored)
Can be re-enabled at any time to restore category limits
