Swatches not appearing? Check these common issues in order.
5 Quick Checks
- Plugin Active?
Go to Plugins and verify WC Variation Swatches is activated. - Attribute Type Set?
Navigate to Products > Attributes > Edit attribute > Set Type to Color, Image, or Label. - Used for Variations?
Edit product > Attributes tab and check “Used for variations” box. - Variations Generated?
Edit Product > Variations tab and click “Generate variations from all attributes“. - Terms Configured?
Products > Attributes > Configure Terms > Add colors/images/labels for each option.
Still Not Working?
- Clear cache and test in incognito browser
- Check Enable Stylesheet in Products > Variation Swatches > General Settings
- Check browser console (F12) for JavaScript errors
- Test with default theme (Storefront) to rule out conflicts
