How to Configure Global Settings
The Global Settings section allows you to define default lead time behavior across your entire store. This is especially useful if you want consistent messaging based on stock status, without configuring each product individually.
You can find these settings by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → WooCommerce → Lead Time
Then scroll down to the Global Settings.

Lead Time Per Stock Status
Set default lead times for each product availability condition. This helps automate customer communication depending on whether a product is In Stock, Out of Stock, or On Backorder.
Lead Time Prefix
Add a custom prefix to appear before the lead time text (e.g., “Estimated Delivery:”).
Lead Time Type
You have two options for entering lead time values:
- Manual Input (Text)
Enter custom lead time text (e.g., “Ships within 1–2 weeks”). - Specific Date
Choose a calendar date, and the plugin will automatically show that as the expected availability or delivery date.
Lead Time Text
This is the core message that appears to customers. Customize it based on the nature of your products and shipping process.
