The WC Email Attachments plugin makes it easy to attach files to specific WooCommerce emails. Whether you’re sending order confirmations, invoices, or product guides, this plugin allows you to include files like PDFs, images, or documents directly in those emails.
Here’s how to use it effectively:
Navigate to Email Settings
To start, go to your WordPress dashboard and open: WooCommerce > Email Attachments > General.
Check the Enable Email Attachment Manager to enable the plugin’s feature.
Select an Email Template
Now, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails from your WordPress dashboard. You’ll see a list of all available WooCommerce email templates — including those sent to customers (like “Order Completed”) and those sent to store admins (like “New Order”).
Choose the email template you want to customize. For example, if you want to send a PDF invoice when an order is completed, locate the “ Completed Order” template and click the Manage button next to it.
Add Your Attachments
On the email configuration screen, scroll down to find the Email Attachments section.
- Click the Add Attachments button.
- Upload one or more files using the WordPress media uploader.
- You can also select existing files from your media library.
Supported File Types: PDF, DOC, XLS, TXT, ZIP, JPG, JPEG, PNG, and GIF
You can add multiple attachments per email. These files will be included automatically each time this email is triggered.
Save Your Changes
After uploading and assigning your files, scroll down and click the Save Changes button.
Once saved, your selected files will be attached to that specific email every time it is sent — no further configuration is needed.
