How to Configure Fees and Discounts

The WC Checkout Files Upload Manager plugin allows you to apply additional fees or discounts based on file uploads. This can be useful for services that require extra handling or custom work, or offer incentives when a customer uploads a file.

To access these settings, go to your WordPress Dashboard → WooCommerce → Checkout Files → Fees & Discounts

This menu is divided into two key sections:

Fees Settings

This section allows you to charge customers an additional fee when they upload a file during checkout.

Enable Fees
Toggle this option on to enable file upload-related fees. When enabled, a predefined fee will be automatically added to the customer’s cart if they upload a file.

Discount Settings

This section allows you to offer a discount when a customer uploads a file. This can serve as an incentive for customers to provide necessary documents or materials early in the ordering process.

Enable Discounts
Enable this option if you want to automatically apply a discount to the cart total when a file is uploaded.

Note: The fees and discounts will not apply if the uploader is set to display on the Thank You Page. Make sure your uploader is set to display on the Product or Checkout Page instead.
