If your showcase continues to display old category images even after uploading new ones, follow the steps below to fix the issue.
Step 1: Understand How Category Images Work
The way images appear in the showcase depends on the Category Selection option you used while creating it:
All Categories
The plugin automatically loads images from your WooCommerce category settings. If you’ve recently updated a category image but it hasn’t changed in the showcase, refresh the showcase by saving the settings again. You can also review the guide on Preparing Category Images.
Specific Categories
The showcase uses the image you assign directly in the showcase settings. To update it, go to your showcase edit screen, click the edit icon next to the category, select Add Image under Category Image, and update the showcase.
Additional Categories (for sliders)
When using the slider layout, additional categories follow the same update process as specific ones. Edit the showcase, add the new image, and save your changes.
Step 2: Clear Cache
If your updated images still do not appear, clear both your browser and site cache. Some caching or optimization plugins may hold older images in memory.
Step 3: Recheck Showcase Settings
Open your showcase once more and ensure the correct categories are selected. Then, click Update Showcase to apply the changes.
