How to Configure Global Settings

The WC Show Single Variations plugin enhances your WooCommerce store by allowing individual product variations to be displayed as standalone products on shop, category, and search pages. This powerful feature improves product visibility and increases the likelihood of conversions.

This document guides you through the Global Settings configuration located in: WordPress Dashboard → WooCommerce → Settings → Single Variation Settings

Global Settings Configuration

Variation Option

This setting determines how product variations appear across your store.

Options:

Show Variation as Single Product
Displays each variation as a separate product item on shop, category, and search result pages.

Show Variation Dropdown On Shop, Category & Search
Shows a dropdown selector for variations on the product card itself.

Exclude Categories

Allows you to exclude specific product categories from showing variations as single products.

Include Categories

Specify which categories should show variations as single products.

Hide Parent Product

Toggle setting to remove the parent variable product from the frontend.

Show in Search Result

Toggle whether to show variation products in WordPress/WooCommerce search results.

Show in Filtered Result

Toggle to control whether variation products appear in filtered queries (like layered navigation or attribute filtering).

Show in Catalog

Toggle to show/hide variation products in the WooCommerce shop and archive pages (like categories or tags).

Enable Add to Cart

Toggle that determines what button is shown on variation listings. If enable, Add to Cart button will show, otherwise, Select Option button will show.
