When the alternative product feature is enabled, the plugin suggests replacement items for discontinued products and displays a notice on the product page. This message helps guide customers toward available options without disrupting their shopping flow.
Go to WooCommerce > Discontinued Products > Alternative to configure the appearance of the alternative product notice.
Configure Appearance Options
The styling options work the same way as the discontinued notice settings, giving you full control over layout and colors.
Padding
Adjust the padding to add space inside the notice box. This improves readability and keeps the content from touching the edges.
Border Style
Choose a border style and define its width and corner radius. This helps visually separate the notice from other page elements.
Border Width
Set how thick the border should be. A subtle border works well for minimal designs, while a thicker one makes the notice more prominent.
Border Radius
Control the roundness of the notice box corners to match your theme’s design style.
Border Color
Select a border color for the normal state and an optional hover color to add a subtle interactive effect.

Apply the Settings
After finishing the customization, click Save Changes. The updated design will appear wherever the alternative product notice is shown.
