Coupon Not Applying at Checkout

If a customer tries to apply a coupon but it does not work, here are a few things to check based on current features:

  • Coupon Expired
    Check if the validity period has passed. Coupons expire after the number of days set in Coupon Validity Period under the plugin settings.
  • Usage Limit Reached
    If the coupon was limited to a single use and has already been used, it will no longer apply.
  • Stacking Not Allowed
    If Restrict to Individual Use is enabled, the coupon won’t apply if another coupon is already in use.
  • Coupon Code Entry
    Customers must enter the correct coupon code shown in their account dashboard. Mistyped codes won’t work.
  • Minimum Cart Amount Not Met
    If the coupon was generated under the Minimum Order Amount trigger, it will only work if the customer’s cart value meets or exceeds that amount.

If all conditions are satisfied and the coupon still doesn’t apply, try clearing your browser cache or testing in a private/incognito window.
