Categories On WP Ever Accounting

Through the Categories feature of WP Ever Accounting, you can check the state and status of your overall account.

Categories help you separate items, incomes, and expenses from each other.

Categories is located inside the submenu of Accounting of the admin dashboard. On this page, you can see all categories, search for any, create a new one, edit the current ones and delete them.

Here following fields are displayed:

  • Name: Category’s name.
  • Type: Categories are shown in items, incomes, and expenses page based on type.
  • Colour: Category’s colour, used in dashboard charts.
  • Status: Status of the category.

You can add your designated categories by choosing Add New option from the Categories page.

A new page will appear with various fields to e filled per wish. The following fields are displayed as blank to be filled, some are required and some not. Those marked with a red star are required.

  • Name:┬áCategory’s name.
  • Type: Type of category. It will be shown in items, incomes, and expenses page based on type.
  • Colour: This color will be used in the dashboard charts.
  • Status: Status of the category.

Last but not least to finally save the information you need to click on the submit option and save your categories data.
